    Default Self balancing motorcycle

Honda's self balancing motorcycle - is it technology that could be rolled out to the masses or should it remain a development curiosity? Link to Wired story.

All motorcycles are self balancing, to a degree.

Exactly. If you are having a problem balancing a moving motorcycle you shouldnt be riding one in the first place lol

Seems like a lot of trouble for no benefit. Once it's moving, it's balanced. You don't balance a moving motorcycle, physics does. When you're stopped, you put a foot down. I don't need or want my bike to wiggle the bars to try to keep itself upright at a stoplight.

I like Honda's constant innovation attitude, but they always seem to put 'can we?' in front of 'should we?'.
