Oh get over yourself. The loser of the presidency (Hillary) and Obama (former president) have been actively undermining Trump since day 1. Politics in the USA having any sort of "decorum" or "unspoken rules" has been gone a long time.

This moral fucking high ground democrats/liberals have is some strong sort of cognitive dissonance. Just because Trump doesn't say it in words that are easy on your delicate ears, doesn't mean it's much different than what any of them have done prior to his election or currently. He just doesn't butter it up.

Corruption, treason, bribery, etc, have always been the unspoken characteristics of the white house.

This notion that Trump is the devil's incarnate and the rest were angels "doing good for the people" is fucking ludicrous.

And true to the first post, it looks like Trump is going to flat out order a military parade. The last one in the USA was in 1991 "Mission Accomplished".

Personally I think its a good idea. People do tend to forget or minimize the power of the US arsenal over time. Ten million dollars or so well spent, seriously - although I'm sure that the moon landing never happened, it was almost getting to the point where I was questioning whether or not the US has 10 functioning aircraft carriers and a dozen tanks.

Don’t worry zen it’s all part of a master distraction plan.

How many times does trump have to say “I’m a narcissistic child” before the conspiracy theory folk will finally drop their outlandish claims and just believe him?

It's funny how Chuck Schumer wanted a Military Parade back in 2014, and now he's crying about one. Total Hypocrite, just like all the Hypocrites who blame Trump for colluding, when they have been the ones doing it all along.

What I find funny is that the generals are basically all against it. I mean seriously, he is the commander in chief - If he says shoot yourself in the foot, you are supposed to shoot yourself in the foot. Unpatriotic treasonous generals, lol.

BTW: It would definitely be understandable that older generals would have a hard time taking Trumps orders. I mean, by Trumps own admission - he was having sex with supermodels and drinking champagne when most of the rest of those in the USA at the time were losing limbs in Vietnam.

If Kim Jong is any indication, keeping generals in line is only possible by one means - execution when they don't agree.

Blame Canada! But realistically, he does have a point about the dairy board. Said it before, the Canadian government does not have enough power to topple the Canadian dairy system, the US government probably doesn't either. Bow down before the mighty cow.

This guy, Harley Davidson prices are too high in Asia? Ever think other countries care more about compact bikes or efficient bikes? So delusional

Seems to be unofficially labelled "Harvest Box" as a partial or full replacement for the dollar based food stamp EBT system.

Trump is definitely hitting all the issues I would have. Shelf stable (no fresh food) is probably exactly what I would have done too. Its not Pemmican and Kiviak, but anything that prevents people from buying 2 litre bottles of soda. Realistically, this might actually mean that Canada might get a few tons more fresh fruit every year, or in more northern climates - an apple a week (which is a lot more than they get now)

This whole Russian collusion thing is getting pretty funny. So it seems like the Russians are more anti Hilary than pro Trump. They’ve been interfering since before Trump even announced his candidacy, swaying the public towards Sanders before Hilary won the nomination, and switching gears to Trump. The irony of it all is how offended US politicians and public are over Russian meddling, when the US themselves by far meddle in more foreign elections over the years than any other country including Russia.

I mean it’s not really a narrative that anyone presents, but it’s all well known facts over the course of history. I think Americans are dumber than I thought. Either that or they’re in denial, or that’s just how left thinking works by ignoring and sweeping under the rug anything that doesn’t fit their narrative.

Phht on peasly Russian meddling. The US has a long history of going to other countries, killing government officials, then placing the government they want in power. US corporations do a similar thing in other countries.

Thing is, according to Americans, when America does such things, it's somehow a-ok. Mostly because, "Hey we're stronger than you, so bend over or die".

Allegedly if the USA cannot hire mercenaries to kill off the leaders in other countries that are not US sympathetic, that's when they tend to influence voting systems.

Realistically its a heck of a lot cheaper to kill off the competition literally. And the US government has no shortage of those in power who are murderers of both lowly citizens to kings.

It will be interesting to see how far people are willing to carry the goalposts on this one. It looks like a lot ofpeople are in it for the long haul. Let’s see how this journey has gone thus far:

Starting line: there’s no collusion, no Russian interference, and no obstruction of justice. Total witch hunt, this investigation is a farce. Shut it down

Trump fires several people involved in a potential investigation, White House issues a finely crafted denial which Trump immediately blows out of the water by admitting he fired Comey at least partially because of the Russia investigation.

This is fine, he knows there’s no wrongdoing, so what does it matter (plops down goal post)

Several members of Trumps team get indictments for various counts of fraud, including one who kicked off the investigation by bragging that he was going to help collude with the Russians

This is fine, these guys are nobodies, all this info about many higher up people knowing all of this information and later lying about it is fine. Also in no way can their testimony and plea deals come into play later. And where is evidence that Russia is involved, complete liberal fantasy. Case closed. (Plops down goal post)

A bunch of Russian agents are indicted for using money from the Russian government to interfere with the elections. It’s been shown that the government knew about this to some extent but the GOP leaders shut down a proposal to address this issue before the election

This is fine, America isn’t so clean you know, they should gladly accept this, they deserve it. Also any testimony or plea deals that come from this will in no way reveal any sort of collusion or obstruction. Nothing that has already been proven is in any way tied to any of this. Case closed (plonks down goal posts)

I can only imagine where this will lead. I’m curious for people in this thread, where will you personally stop carrying those goal posts?

Scott Adams predicted that Trump would change the way we view reality, is it already happening?

Obviously yes, the goal posts are moving, but that's not that unique, it happens in both politics and the court of public opinion all the time. What's very new here is how open and obvious this process is. Trumps being very open about the goal posts moving, and moving them on purpose and people are noticing.

If the only long term result of the Trump presidency is that the general public becomes aware of how easily manipulated the media and the voters are, I'll call it a success.

Open, obvious and at such an accelerated pace. Just 2 years ago if someone had said that the president would be caught paying off porn stars for sex and it would barely be remembered a week later, they’d be sent to the looney bin

Now, is it making the world a better place? Probably not. Bit it's my opinion that American politics was already full of scumbags as bad or worse than DJT. Maybe this will be the push required for candidates with integrity and morals to be successful? Or maybe we are moving rapidly towards a hunger games style dystopia.

    Hard to say so far.

Ultimately, who's more damaging and dangerous to their respective Country? Trump or Trudeau?
