This has already been discussed. CPS bet on the wrong horse on the body camera vendor and failure rate was high. They are going thru sourcing again.

And if they have go thru a billion lawyers and revisions on the contract, it's like a 6 months before you will have unit on the ground for testing, and another year before roll out.
