Default Kevin O'Leary. The next Conservative leader.

Probably the next PM as well.

My hope level for Canada just went from 0 to 100.

Good thing we don't have the fundamental flaw the US has:

Not every citizen gets to vote in leadership contests. The party membership fee and forms will keep 90% of the sheep who would actually vote for this clown on the sidelines.

I haven't met one actual CPC member who would vote for O'Leary. It's way too much of an old boys club for that

A three legged dog, or InRich, would make a better PM than Trudeau.

I just hope that if he becomes Prime Minister he can avoid sinking the country like when he was on the board of Environmental Management Solutions Inc and drove their stock from close to $4 to 3.5 cents. That is not the type of "success" that I want for our country.

Trudeau can't even answer questions. He just replies with general fluff.

Oh wait. When asked how many times he went to the island, he said that he's only going to tell the ethics commissioner.

People forget or never knew about it. The guy got lucky with Mattel and the ride has been pear shaped ever since. I find him entertaining, but I'm not trusting him or his knowledge.

About time we get some down-to-earth folks to show these Eastern elitists who's boss.

Ontario educated and living in Boston and now coming back for you, we have Michael Ignat...er Kevin "Dragon Shark" O'Leary (man, I hope those old attack ads don't come back to haunt them) who became a household name thanks to your tax dollars on publicly funded TV.

Or "I'm not an idiot" herself, the anti-elite, the Hon. Dr. K. Leitch, P.C., O.Ont., M.D., M.B.A., F.R.C.S.(C)., B.A. Sure she may have been educated in Ontario and has lived there the majority of her life, but she's a prairie girl at heart! She'll put those elitists in their place just like the people who reminded her that she only has 18 letters at the end of her name did to her.

But the anti-Easterners don't stop there.

You've got the communist Asian guy from Ontario.
The former cabinet minister from Quebec who had to resign because he left NATO documents at his girlfriend's house.
The Toronto Port Authority lawyer who may not be liked in most parts of the country, but isn't all that liked in the GTA either.

Alberta first at this leadership convention I tell ya!

But it's the same deal, like trump he is a great actor and is able to pull the wool over a lot of people's eyes and make them think he is this amazing business man which isn't really true. He is also a loose cannon that would be embarrassing to have as our representative to the world (maybe even as bad as Justin).

The other problem is look at how he operates. He wants to run the country like a business. Which may sound good to some people but for others who can step back and think about it rationally, how many times has a CEO of a large company ever cared whether his people on the front lines live in poverty or not? That's right, never....

Further I personally think celebrities should be barred from running for any high level political position. There are too many uneducated people who won't spend the time to review each part's platform and will end up voting for him simply because of familiarity.

I really don't see him as the right candidate, but again o am one of the few who votes for my parliament representative not the party. I have sent emails and letters my mp as I voted for them not the PM. O'Leary is a lose cannon who simply says things to get attention. Guys a dick, just cause the USA votes in a guy like Trump, does not mean we should. We are better than that.

I wish I had as much faith as you do. I doubt 3 years ago many Americans would have thought Trump would be prez.
