A package I ordered from China at the end of March just arrived yesterday. I contacted Canada Post and they said that there is a 50 day backlog at the Vancouver sorting facility where all China shipments go thru.
I wonder if that's why my latest order went through Germany and into montreal, still been almost a month though and not received

Most of my packages from China are in the 90-120 day mark. They get here, just really slow. You have to plan for disappointment (knowing you will buy and never receive). It adds to the excitement when you do actually get the item!

Same herw, 3 to 5 months. I felt bad, I got refunds on about a half dozen orders, every single one ended up getting here.

The hold up is Canada post, not the Chinese

Could you not send the refunded monies back to the company that you received the items from?

Stupid question, but how do you do this? Just via original payment method i.e. paypal?

I have also got about 5 items refunded by filing cases in ebay. Probably a total of $50usd or so. Now i feel bad when i get a refund, and the item shows up 4 months late
I feel like I am a prime target for being run over by the karma bus...

Pretty much. Or just contact the seller and let them know it arrived and ask them what their Paypal address is so they know it's coming and why.

Yeap that's what I do. When they refund you so quickly and are nice about it, and they even say if item arrives please pay them then, I don't want to scam them so I pay them back.

So sending payment after getting a refund and then actually getting the item - I wonder what the percentage is that actually do this?

we changed from aliexpress to some other chinese site called wish - where you do pay a little for shipping like $1.50 to 5$ - its not much - shit gets here super quick. one package took 5 days or less.

so far ive ordered about 8 items and all of them arrived within 2 weeks.
