Hey is the winter driving course running this year at ghost?

I'm having way too much fun in the rav on all summers (ok all weathers but they suck) - finally figured out that point of slip from the front bias, and it's so easy to 4 wheel drift and dialing in to the short wheelbase again (it's been a while, I'm used to 200"+ wheelbase vehicles).

That said what was with drivers today, I caught 3 major accidents in front of me today.
Yes, first one is this coming Sunday - Jan. 14 - this time right in Calgary ... don't have to travel far. See the posting in the Events and Meets section for links etc.

I watched a red Toyota echo do a Dukes of Hazzard over the median at aldersyde Petro Canada this morning. It was awesome.

    Roads are greasy

Holy black ice nightmare on the hill going up James McKevvit across from Shell. Had to wait for traffic to clear last night and swerve into the turning lane
in order to get any form of traction. And this is on snow tires.

What track would Beyonders go to? And like 99% of the people on here have ever been to Castrol

I'm gonna check out Castrol for the first time this summer. Is there any sort of non drag racing type "racing" that joe public can do? Wanna test
out the oil cooler and bilsteins.

Yeah I tend to agree. Studded tires are a winter long thing from my experience. They rock. A little noise but there is no comparo.

Tons of track days and time attack days. Pretty pricey though.

Went up 3 different hills yesterday, encountered 3 different cars with flashers on in the fast or middle lane going 20. WTF are these people thinking? Expecting to see the same level of stupidity today.

On the bright side, I can see a lot of people are well equipped for the conditions, 80% of the cars were able to drive around the idiot like they were parked.

Claresholm should still be running, the pilots were getting pissy about using the runway but the pad is private land so that should happen no matter the outcome
