Dog poop on my house sidewalk, an actual honest to goodness 311 report.
Snowflake or just dumb person?

Before I had dogs I couldn't figure out where all the shit was coming from in my back yard... Neighbours had dogs but always kept in the yard and it was fully fenced. AFAIK, I wasn't on anyone's shit list, pardon the pun.
Then one sunny spring Saturday I'm sitting out on the deck with a beverage and a book when all of a sudden a Magpie lands on the railing, beak full of a giant dog turd... Still had a clump of snow and a leaf attached. As I slowly reached for my phone (cuz no one is going to believe this), the little fucker dropped the dog shit on my deck and flew off.
So would you expect the CoC to do so like it appears the 311 reporter is maybe expecting?Originally posted by Thaco

I think I would actually pay the city money if they let me make snarky responses for the majority of 311 complaints.
You and me both, I would bet that there are a lot of interesting stories swapped at coffee breaks there. I would imagine that it would be more difficult to keep a straight face if someone called in this dog poop complaint, having to listen to such a complaint and not actually laugh or educate the caller would be so difficult.Originally posted by schocker

Yup props to those who can answer those calls.
Some people are real gems.

Shit, there's only 49 users here, I doubt we'll even break 100
DNA sample necessary in this case for sure
I just want to see their internal "best calls" list. It'd be worth going through the interview and getting hired just to leaf through it, try to catch a peek at their break room bulletin board with email threads on it.Originally posted by speedog

The 311 app is great so you can see what dicks your neighbours are. There's some guy in Beddington who posts a series of angry photos every day of unshoveled pathways in a nearby park.

There is a huge green space behind my house with a pathway. Sometimes my dog runs into the deep snow far away from the path and takes a shit. If its too far out and the snow is deep, I don't go get it.
Sounds like it will be a shitty situation come spring.Originally posted by jabjab

You're a lazy dog Owner, I hope someone finds it in the spring and puts it in your mailbox.

I say stupid shit all the time.
I suspect that if your dog took a shit 2 feet away from you, then you wouldn't pick it up provided no one else saw it.Originally posted by jabjab

Kids play around a green space or park, then step / fall into dog shit because of POS like you.
God, you're lazy. I can't stand it when dickheads find (poor) excuses to not clean up after their dogs.Originally posted by jabjab

My shoes get filled with snow on a regular basis when I'm going to clean up after my dogs; I figure that's easier to deal with than some poor sucker getting shit stuck to their shoes later on.
Dog poo = free hand warmer in the winter.
