Damn Erik, looking awesome!
I'm hitting up Maui in April, got an underwater case for my 80d, will see how things pan out, might try some landscape stuff if anyone has any tips...

I finally got the chance to take the 200-500 out and give it a real workout. Gotta say I'm impressed. Still looking at a 400mm 2.8 FL, but this thing is a solid performer.

2nd attempt of people photography with my girlfriend.
I could use a lens between my 135 F2 and my 40mm F2.8.
85 would make more sense for portrait, but I'm craving the 50mm sigma art...

Out for a walk last week. Was happy with this as a quick snap with potato-phone. Could have screwed around with the composition a little more to frame the buildings a bit better. It was a nice warm day.

I like your editing style here and #3 definitely sticks out as the winner.Originally posted by NoPulp

The others highlight things to keep in mind while out on location: background distractions. For me, I'm focusing more on the cut tree and logs vs. her. A different location I feel would have isolated her better.
Definitely improving man, great progression

Thank you!
Definitely agree about the tree. I liked the location because of the difference of lighting, but the tree is too fresh and grabs too much attention.
Have been enjoying doing different things. Caught some attention on a local modeling page, so hopefully doing some more practice soon!

Bull Elk Stag by Wilson Hui, on Flickr
The biggest one of those that I've seen. Can anyone more familiar with hunting confirm/deny whether this is an 8x8 or 6x6 elk? I've been trying to look it up online, but am rather confused as to whether or not the lower tines pointing forward count.
Someday we may need to activate the halo structure off Deerfoot and destroy the North East.
Just came back from India, taking photos for a wedding, got lots of great footage out there and threw together a quick montage:
pics to come after i get around to editing...
