Compustar Replacement Antenna/Remote?

Hi guys,

I got a CM4200 brain in my wife's car, I think ANT-2WFM as an antenna (car in the bodyshop after an accident, so don't know for sure) and a 2W4500FMR remote. I don't want to remove the brain and upgrade, but I would like more range if possible, plus the remote is falling apart. I read online a bit and some people say the brain doesn't change, and I should be able to replace the antenna and the remote and get the additional benefits.

Anyone know what kind of combo will work with my brain? Will I actually get better range over what I have now? Is there a shop in town that you guys would recommend to go to ask these questions? It's an older system so online searches are proving to be difficult

i did this before, i dont remember the details, but it was exactly just replace the antenna and the remote and it was much better range... was years ago though

Try "lockdownsecurity.ca" I bought an older discontinued remote from there in the fall- great service.
