Never fails, within a month of someone popping out their first kidlet, or every stay at home mom is "changing peoples lives"
Not sure why, but this is the only demographic on my social media that participates in this "marketing".
The worst is when they get offended that you didn't go to their "parties" to buy stupid crap that you don't need because you're not being "supportive"
Facebook and other platforms make it super easy to spread your message. That doesn't mean it's being heard, just that it's easy to share.
*sigh* Remember the good ol' days when people would just spam forums like this one?
I delete new moms. Sorry, you've been voted off the island. Go sell scentsy and talk about trump everywhere.
Kangen water advertisements...Change your water, change your life. I kinda feel for those who don't do a simple google search about this. End up spending a ton of money on this machine.
Ya know I think this is it. I've hit the age where most of my friends are starting families. Probably why I've noticed such a huge spike.Originally posted by NoSup4U
Roden And Fields has become the plague of my Facebook. Never fails, within a month of someone popping out their first kidlet, or every stay at home mom is "changing peoples lives"
Whatever happened to doing things like book keeping while on leave?
I talked to one of my friends who is one of those people that likes the products so they became a rep to get discounts and they were saying the "training" is like brain washing. They really do try to get you to manipulate your friends
Hopefully the CRA likes to look too...Originally posted by Type_S1
It's insane to me that this girl is making 6-8k per month on instagram because she has over a million creepers wanting to look at her boobs in a bikini.
...into the taxes they file...
I find the worst lately is all the MLM ads that are popping on my feed. I swear, every two hours there is some new ad about some dude who quit his taxing job in the oil patch to travel the world while making off his smartphone. Jeeeesh
Totally this too. Keep dreaming people. Sad to take advantage of desperate people in a recession. Sucker born every minute I guess.Originally posted by BavarianBeast

#millenialentrepreneurs is more like it.
Amway, mary kay, regal weren't entrepreneurial, it was a side job for a few extra dollars.
Fortunately most give them up within a few months - realizing how bad their investment was. And I don't terribly mind the ads for the yoga pants
I have one idiot who keeps trying to get me into his financial services MLM, but he doesn't see it as a pyramid or MLM scheme... But it's fun to troll him when he gets back from a meeting and he's all gung ho and thinks he has all the answers. I'm surprised he hasn't blocked me yet actually.
Yeah, we're gonna need to see that insta.Originally posted by NoSup4U

The advertising isn't any different than what it used to be. The difference, as some have pointed out, is that young families tend to get into it because the stay-at-home parent is bored out of their minds or needs a distraction away from the kid.
Another reason for the uptick could just be that more people are trying to do different things, hoping they'd be the exception rather than the rule in MLM businesses.

It's actually pathetic how many suckers there are. Take a look at that fuckin idiot Tai Lopez. Dude has made millions likely from people buying his 67 step advice when it's absolute garbage.
Also the reason for influx of "professional photog's" or "yoga teacher" a few years back.Originally posted by sexualbanana

All short lived once people realize they don't want to put the work in.
What is even worse with these pyramid schemes is after a while it has nothing to do with hard work. The people near the top and those that got in early actually are making money. But as john Oliver pointed out in one of his skits, to make the money the people at the top are making there simply aren't enough people in the world. You end up exceeding the worlds population at some point in the chain.Originally posted by mr2mike

Companies don't need to pay much for marketing but can get better tracking of how many views their brands are getting, so given they're saving money on producing ads and getting more reliable analytics in return, she's probably underpaid based on the value she's providing compared to what advertising usually costs if they have over a million followers to be honest.Originally posted by Type_S1

I'll never look down at anyone who has found a way to access an additional source of income. I have two close friends who are hard into the R&F system, and they are putting in a lot more work than just a couple facebook posts per week. They make pretty nice monthly pocket money too.
Whoever said above that facebook is 100% an advertising platform, is 100% correct. If you aren't marketing, then you are the market.
Same is true on EVERY social media platform.

Girls whoring out their bodies for money is nothing new (sorry modelling). It's just easier to find girls now vs. going through talent agencies or them volunteering to do porn. #empoweringwomenandbreakingstereotypesOriginally posted by Type_S1
3 girls I grew up with became "instafamous" (500k-2mm followers) due to both their natural and enhanced assets. They all non-stop have post of womans protien shakes and supplements, sports apparel, bikini companies and other brands. After talking to them I can tell that companies pay these intstafamous people boatloads to advertise for them. The one girl said she's gets $500 in free clothes per month from the one brand and $1500 cash. Similar from the other 4-5 brands she reps. It's insane to me that this girl is making 6-8k per month on instagram because she has over a million creepers wanting to look at her boobs in a bikini.
My GF has lots of those fitness groups/girls/whatever on her Instagram and Facebook feed so it's not even just dudes creeping.
Agreed. Make your money however you want that's legal, I couldn't give two shits to be honest - you do you.Originally posted by ExtraSlow
