So Rainer isn't at Nano Defense anymore? Guy keeps moving, SR, Nano, now maybe this place?
I get the impression that Rainer is mostly focused on the Revivify sales and training side of things and floats around picking up PPF installs when he has spare time or for Beyonders.
He did mention that Nano/Jackie was booked solid for the week that I needed it done, I'm not sure if he would've done it there instead if they weren't.

That's correct. He told me he's focussing more on the sales side and only does coatings on the side on occasion for beyonders and customers he has a good relationship with. I would say Rainer is probably the best dude I have met in the industry as he's a straight up great guy. I just found out that Xpel bought Shadow Tinting so they are kind of intertwined with Refine Salon so if you take your car to Refine for Xpel and want window tinting as well they will send the car to Shadow Tinting as they are just too busy to do tint. Refine is now doing their PPF installs down the street at the building where Thompson Graphics was at. This industry is moving pretty fast with the growth of ppf and coatings and it's hard to keep track.

Thanks, Cory for the kind words. I stared at your car so much I literally dreamt about it last night

And yes to all Beyonders, after years of detailing..I have taken a step back to focus on my other business which is sales and training for Revivify. For the past 2.5 years, I have put so much effort into growing Revivify in Canada that we now have over 130 installers across Canada. So that has been taking a lot of my time and so I have decided to relieve myself from the day-to-day detailing. Like Cory said, I still do some odd jobs here and there for Beyonders but it is no longer a full-time thing for me now. Both Greg and Jackie are still really good and can still help fellow Beyonders.

Greg is a newer shop and has offered Revivify and other services for over a year now. Totally cool and great guy that I have been trying to support and help. So I have been spending my spare time there helping him

traditional ppf would not be ideal because of clarity. This is why it took STEK years to come up with a tpu based WPF. However, it is really meant for like small rocks.. I have found it's quite a bit weaker when compared with pvc WPF but it's definitely better than just glass.

I like Rainer, liked the work he did on my truck. But I don't buy as many vehicles as you animals.

Rainer has always taken care of me, my family and friends.

Hard to find someone as meticulous as him for reasonable pricing. Hope he'll still take me on as a customer

I'm not too sure if I know who you are but hey of course I will. As long as you can accommodate me and my part-time schedule....

Huge shoutout to Rainer, Greg and Expressive Autoworks for doing a full xpel on my car this last week. Top notch customer service, fast turn around, incredible care for detail and quality work. Thank you beyond for the recommendation!

I was at their shop last week. They were working on a green vehicle. Is that yours?

VPS did my Tesla & Macan (in Winnipeg) and Shadow did my SLS (Calgary). I would recommend both.

so I have been out of the loop. These places do a full detail on the vehicle first? And then wrap it?

You guys did the whole car?

is there a big price diff between the diff films?

what the cost usually? ish? lol

Wide range of costs depending on the vehicle complexity and size, materials, the amount of prep work and the experience of the installer.

I would reach out to Rainer (Nano Defense) or Renee (Ultimate Auto Protection) to get a better idea, too hard to spitball a price for you off cuff
