But it wasn't a blind taste test so these results are meaningless. seriously, Popeyes? It only won because it new and hyped in yyc.

Fair enough, but people are trying to interpret the results and are questioning how Popeyes won, and it's just further feeding the hype lol. vicious circle you guy have here, Tom you aren't a silent partner are you?

Promise, not affliated with popeyes whatsoever. For what it's worth, even though it's just a shits and giggles hang out, the scores were individually marked by the 6 who completed the score card. Only after then, are the score cards collectively added together. There were no "discussion" during each piece, this ain't no fuckin' book club kinda meeting. It was individual buffet style grabbing the labeled chicken and marking your own score card, and then compare.

Yes, blindfold taste test have been talked over. Though these are trust worthy OG Beyonders and I love them dearly, but sorry there's no way in hell I'd get blindfolded while Beyonders shove different pieces of cocks down my throat. Wouldn't expect different from them neither.

I'd say give our top three a try first.

Excellent post! I haven't had fried chicken in ages, but will definitely be able to make an informed decision when I do!

Broke the rule just for you dj... Re-did Yum Yum (Southland and Elbow's location)

Wasn't purely just fried chicken though, had their twisted potato so good, and mixed matched it with some beef bulgogi dish.

I'll TRY my best to re-enact the cock fest night, but the first time is always the best memories than repeats. Out of a 10 pts system (10 being best)

    - Texture 8/10
    -Tenderness 7/10
    - Presentation 7/10
    - Crispiness 7.5/10 (it was fresh out of the kitchen, compared to the take out event)
    - Oiliness 6/10
    - Taste 7/10

Thought I'd sworn off the chicken for a while, but I guess just trying to fulfill my fiduciary duty to this section.

my theory was that popeyes was probably the freshest, considering the long lines, hence it won.

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

Tomco review of Crunchy House pls.

*seems like they don't have their process sorted out and take 45 min to "cook to order"
