So I got my brotect screen protector in and I'm not really impressed. Like the other poster it doesn't curve around with the screen so there's a gap on the ends where the screen ends. It also is flimsy (you can kind of bend it like a plastic screen protector). Lastly it came with no cleaning wipe. Most screen protectors Ive had always came with a cleaning wipe (or mist) but this came with nothing.

The one corners doesn't seem to want to set right now either. I'll keep it on for now until something better comes along.

Mine is tempered glass as mentioned, doesn't curve/bend, but it doesn't cover the whole screen and has the gap yes.

Yeah well I wonder how they get the soft flowing caramel inside the Caramilk bar but you don't see me making a god damn thread about it. Slap your wife Baygirl, straighten him out.

So mine is having issues. I switched to the iPhone for a couple of days and today put the SIM card back in the Keyone and I keep seeing emergency calls only. It's not getting any reception. So I am starting to think that now it's locked itself as this should have been the case from the beginning. Not sure. But it doesn't say in correct SIM or anything on the start up. Everything turns on fine and it just shows emergency calls only on the top. I guess I will order that unlock code now...

Factory reset the damn thing and still the same problem. I don't get the fucking prompt to enter the unlock code that I spent $30 to purchase from Blackberry CodeSource.

Regardless of which SIM I put in...no prompt to MEP unlock code crap! Any ideas?

Did u go to settings, more, mobile networks, network carrier to see if it's picking up a network? You should be able to select the one you want.

Mine doesn't have that enter Sim card unlock blah blah thing. I'm waiting to see the if there a manually way to access to unlock with a code.

Nothing works. It searches for networks for a few minutes, a couple show up and when I click Fido it keeps loading and after a while gives an error. No reception bar, no internet and it displays Emergency Calls Only. The only thing I could think was that when I called Bell and cancelled the month-to-month plan they maybe noticed and locked it on their end and now Fido doesn't work but why the fuck does it not prompt me to enter the fucking unlock code when I put in the Fido SIM! So fucking annoying.

    Saw this online:

How to Unlock Blackberry KEYOne by Unlock Code / entry instructions

Turn on your Blacberry KeyOne, Open the sim tray(while the phone is on) and insert an unaccepted SIM card in your Blackberry KEYOne – (One that's not from the network your phone is locked to)
Select yes when prompted if you want to enter an unlock code
Enter your Blackberry KEYOne's unlock code and press enter.
Your Blackberry KEYOne is now permanently Unlocked and ready for use on any network!
    That's it! Easy as 1 - 2 - 3!

Did you try tossing the sim with the phone on first? I haven't tried it yet but will try this when i get home, I'd like to unlock mine too.

    CB.com says this:

    BlackberryCodeSource
    ZorroNTC,

a customer had this issue with a keyone and did this and it worked.

Please insert a sim from the original network and turn the phone on

Then while it is on and booted up open the sim tray and insert a not accepted Simcard and it should ask for the code

Make sure the phone is on while you do this

Got my code now and yup already tried that as I found that thread in my googling research as well.

So damn frustrating, absolutely no unlock prompt. Only message I guess is, 'new SIM inserted, restart device to apply new settings'.And even when you restart, no prompt and simply no reception.

That's shitty, sorry to hear that.

I just tried the instructions above, and it came up right away asking me for the MEP code.

Nice. Definitely no such luck here.

Paid $30 to unlocking service and now paid $52.50 to Bell directly only to get the exact same email with same instructions and same code. Those fucking assholes after hearing the whole story won't even refund the charge. Don't know if it's grounds for disputing the charge...

$80+ in and the motherfucker still doesn't work

How long did it take you to get your code from blackberry code source Shakalaka? It's been 48+ hours for me hah.

You should message them, took me less than 24 hours. I got mine finally working. Had to use a Rogers SIM to get it to pop me the unlock code message.

Yep emailed them last night. Came back with some story but whatever, I just wanted the code, but won't be using them again.

Glad you got it working. Mine's unlocked now too.

For whats it worth, Blackberry Code Source gave me 3 different possible codes and none of them were the same as what I got from Bell directly when I looked closely, which is what I ended up using in the end.

    Is anyone using the DTEK60?

Looking for a new phone to buy outright. This phone seems to be pretty good value for the price when compared to the Pixel/S7/8/ G6.

Those who have the KeyOne, how do you like it? The Limited Edition "Black" version out of India looks awesome. The Dual Sim feature would be great to have for travel. Too bad not available in Canada

I'm still rocking mine, in fact replying to you with the phone. The Kb took time to get used to again as I've, like everyone, have adjusted to a virtual Kb. So that was a bit to transition back.

Typing I'm faster with this than a virtual Kb.

Battery still strong, I'm charging every other day.

No issues, phones still been solid. I don't have one where the screen lifts off either, think that was a one off for some peeps. Some dick in BC saw my phone and started cutting it down and how I should get an iPhone, pissed me off. Almost showed his apple up his ass.

Still loving it btw. Lots of comments. Some good, some peeps just wonder why I like a silly Kb or bb.

    Everyone still have theirs?

im still rocking my priv, hate its battery life but the smaller screen on the keyone is keeping me from getting it. Otherwise the Priv is still awesome.

Only dislike is the battery for me, promoted as great battery life but coming from a Sonim XP7 this thing sucks, I drain from 100% to 30 by noon and same thing by bed time again, although it may be considered as 'excessive use' by some user standards (maps, bluetooth, voice, data, emails, videos, pictures)
