Anyone playing?

I am not an avid video game player (first game I bought in over a year) but its pretty fun for the first few hours

Huge ass map. Tones of vehicles, big bonus points for real guns/weapons.

I kinda like that it's gone back to normal combat abilities and not that crazy exo-suit stuff like Advanced Warfare

Fired it up for the first time last night and did the first mission rescuing the dude. it's not bad. i agree with dave p about points for real weapons. My first game in awhile too, it seems not bad. some reviews say it gets repetitive, i'm not too suprised for such a large open world game. I'll spend some time on it for sure.

The helicopter flying will take some getting used to.

I played the beta and thought it was maybe a $40 purchase for me. Lots of people seem to be having lots of fun. Kind of like an open world division which I like but the performance on my PC was not so hot and the vehicle controls were horrible. The AI I also found to be terrible but I never tried coop.

Different franchise haha. Tom Clancy games have been The Division and Splinter Cell (etc).

Call of Duty was the series with Advanced Warfare and exo suits

Think he meant advanced warfighter, or future warfighter for that matter.

Both GR titles.

WIll probabaly pick this up in a few months on sale similar to shocker, always enjoyed GR but I have andromeda preordered out next week so no need for another game right now.

I agree with you guys. It does look at like a fun game, just not at full price. It reminds me a lot of the Division but during a different setting. The division was a cool concept but it was WAY too repetitive.

Definitely getting andromeda though, looks awesome. Still working my way through zelda though.

Been playing the shit out of this on xb1 it's super fun with a squad of 4 buddies. Almost nearing the end of the story. It's the same thing over and over but I find it to be a lot of fun.

I have been playing this and on the hardest setting and it is a completely different game. No more knowing where enemy's are unless you physically spot them as there is no enemy bloom areas. You get shot? You die.... Quickly..... Taking out a convoy involves setting up a kill zone. I place one mine at the front and C4 behind then attack the truck after the lead and chase vehicles are disabled.

Repetitive goes out the window on extreme as the AI gains crazy spot distance and do random patrols. I shot a flare in a corner to wait for them to go to it only to find one guy stayed behind to watch the corner. I walked around to ambush them and got greeted by a shotgun slug from behind... Almost like they set a trap for me. It's worth giving extreme a try.
