    Default Dyson Warranty question??

    Has anyone dealt with Dyson warranty? Is it a painless process like Apple? My 1 yr old vacuum is already broken.

    I had one break that I used for like 2 years last year. I called Dyson's support line and they made an appointment for me at their local service center in the SE. No charge or anything. Super painless process.

    They will also send you a prepaid shipping box if you don't feel like driving to the repair shop.

    My power-head broke within the first year of owning my Dyson, I was a bit worried it was going to be a PITA because it was a refurbished unit. I called them up about it, and they didn't even ask me any questions about my ownership... they just grabbed my address and sent me a new one ASAP. Great customer service, they really stand behind their products.

    That's awesome! I was kinda worried because most of the Dyson warranty review online has been really negative lol..

    This was probably about 7 years ago, but the clutch in my Dyson burnt out (I forgot what they wrote exactly on the service ticket) after about 3 years. They sent a pre-paid Purolator box to me. Had it picked up and returned fixed at no charge for shipping, material or labour in just over a week. It was really no hassle at all.
