    Default LARGE cheap Android tablet

I use a wall mounted Android tablet to be a calendar for my family. Last one, some ancient Asus beast died. Using a spare little one for now, but want something with a bigger screen long term. Just needs to run a calendar app and Google music, so can be low spec hardware.

What's a cheap tablet with a large display? Is there a better option I'm not thinking of? Wall mount a touch screen monitor?
Help me figure out what to do with my life. Suggestions?

Find a used 10.1 note for a few years back. They were spec'd enough to do everything you need and as a bonus, you have pen input for notes ect.

I wouldn't go with anything much worse than that unless you go used.

Asus Zenpad is probably your cheapest options unless you want to deal with random Chinese tablet from Gearbest like this one

    http://www.gearbest.com/tablet-pcs/pp_486318.html

The problem with gearbest is shipping is now hit and miss with CP taking forever to screen packages and you may have to deal with ROMs that may have spyware on it.
