Default American Airlines flights are annoying

When it comes to airfares, most annoying are the American Airlines flights from Calgary to the States and Mexico that are almost always cheapest but almost always require an overnight stay in Dallas or Phoenix. Their Calgary flight timings appear to be off sync with what we normally see with other airlines like United and Delta where connections times are minimized.

I avoid American Airlines for this.

I'm sure there are other Calgarians that share the frustration.

Undeniable. But with AA it's consistent, and sometimes, if booked in advance, you'd even find similar nonstops with other airlines. Post is not about cost, but about connectivity and hub operations.

    Settle down.

That just means they can't fill the plane to justify a 'synced' timeline. So they need to fill it in the hubs.

Convenience and price are typically directly related.

Also, it's not like airlines have free-range over when they can land and take-off. They buy slots from the airport, if they don't think they are earning enough to justify a more expensive (convenient for customer) slot, they aren't going to pay for it.

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

Yeah this is a pretty useless thread. If you don't like flying AA, then choose another airline? Don't see what the big deal is about. You're the one who wanted to save a few bucks. (See also: white trash all inclusive to Mexico with Sunwing, etc.)
