I'll be checking that out.
I'm a huge fan of just about every Documentary genre, and don't like just about every tv sitcom. Nova is one of favorites along with crime docs, science docs, Frontline, American Experience, etc.
American experience is just as well done as Frontline. For a teaser, check out the Coney Island episode. You'll thank me for the suggestion.

nova is cool.
As ive gotten older my inner geek has definitely grown and I love Nova, Frontline, the BBC Earth channel etc... its just really nice to actually LEARN something as opposed to all the crap on TV. Sorry im not interested in shows about midgets working in the real world. I even find the nightly news on PBS to be really good. Man, im getting old.
I MAKE BALLER CARS MORE BALLER.....
Usually Nova and Nature. Occasionally concerts during pledge week.

I often record Austin City Limits on Saturday night.
Sometimes they have bands/artists I'm familiar with, and sometimes hidden gems.
When I was younger I would always watch the home shows on sunday evenings; Hometime, This Old House, The New Yankee Workshop. I haven't in a while though.
I watch some of the food shows, because Food Network is just complete GARBAGE. Way too many shitty shows on that network. What happened to actual, decent cooking shows?
PBS has some great cooking shows, like Great British Baking Show, Martha Bakes, Cook's Country and few other ones too.
Too bad Chris Kimball left Cook's Country over disputes but I hope his new show Milk Street Kitchen will be good. America's Test Kitchen is so crappy without Chris.
I love the late night Friday reunion concerts they show. Eagles and Def Leppard ftw hahaha
