Default BB's West Coast Westfalia Trip

    Hey Beyond,

I got bored the other night and decided to write up a quick report on my trip I did this past summer with my fiancee in our Westy. Don't mind the poor grammar and spelling mistakes.. Hope you enjoy.

I know this word has been used and abused but EPIC fits this perfectly! Thats an adventure of a lifetime. We did a long road trip with my family a couple years ago and tbh it was one of the best trips ever. Its a complete different vacation being able to go where ever whenever.

    Thanks for the report

and I did not have the only say in the matter (most people just want it done ASAP and don't care about quality).

If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.

Thanks everyone! It certainly was the trip of a lifetime.

We were gone for 11 weeks in total. From the end of June to Mid September.

So Awesome. This has been a great lunchtime read at work. Dang now I want a Westy.......
A Ferrari is a high maintenance chick, you spend money regardless of what you do with her. You can baby the C63, or slap on all seasons, and you won't be spending anything but yearly maintenance. Of course that's like dating a stripper and refusing to fuck her, which would make you gay.

Awesome awesome trip! I really want to do something like this. Looks like a camper van is the best way to go too.

So glad I found this, thanks for sharing.
My girlfriend and I are leaving to Aus in June and buying a van in Sydney and doing something very similar. Hoping to snag a popup as well and travel for 1-2 months, your story got me so pumped!

The first leg of the trip to LA and back up was 32 days.

No problem, glad you liked it.

Funny you guys are doing that trip. As soon as we completed this one, we flew into Brisbane, picked up a camper van and drove to Melbourne. Hopped on a plane to NZ and drove for 5 weeks over there on both islands. I'll get around to blogging that trip here shortly.

    Cheers,
    BB
