    Default yay St. Paddy's vandalism

smashed winshield, big dents in the hood after deciding to leave the car in the lot overnight

sigh... is it worth going through insurance, and possibly a police statement over a windshield and some PDR work?

I guess I should start with a quote.

For a no-fault comprehensive claim like this that vastly exceeds the cost of deductible? Yes it's worth it.

Any pics of the hood? If it's someone jumping all over it, (on a newer, nicer ride), it SHOULD take more that PDR method to get it back to acceptable level.

Go through insurance as a no fault claim. PDR will not fix that.

Shitty luck man, can’t believe how ignorant some people are, it’s pathetic.

this is my biggest fear about leaving my vehicle overnight at a bar or pub. i will never do it because of this.

hope your insurance company handles this quickly for ya.

Doesn't get much lower than vandalism. Takes the culprit a couple seconds to do, and you are left with no way of ever catching them, months of insurance hassle, a deductible to pay, and repair shop hassle. On top of that, depending on what needs fixing, it may never be the same again

Damn, my buddies C63 AMG coupe (507) got stomped on sometime last week downtown as well. Windshield and hood totally destroyed, boot prints all over it. Is this normal downtown?

So insurance has got back to me and my policy will cover this as a no fault claim.

They recommended some auto body places however I can use my own

I am also looking to get some other work done, and I figure if I can find a place where I can get both this claim and other work (non claim) at the same time that would be preferred.

Anyone recommend a good auto body place that can do this and have reasonable rates (possibly cash)?
