Well Merc looks pretty fucking fast. They did use ultra sorts tho but on long runs.

Well the race lap record has been shattered. The outright lap record is 0.1s away from Lewis on a lap with traffic haha. Gonna be interesting to see how much faster the new outright record will be tomorrow in Q3.

Sandbags have been cast aside, and it looks like Lewis is going to end Bottas' career just like his daddy said.
Really goes to show how under-rated Nico was.
Always thought Bottas would be a dull choice because even old man Massa held his own against him for the most part. Massa is dominating the Billion Dollar Kid though.
Hoping to see Vettel fight for 2nd just to mix things up.

I don't think anyone underrated Nico, he was just not as good/fast as Lewis. Bottas will get better as the season progresses.

Stayed up and watched this last night. Should be a lot more close races with Ferrari closing the gap on Mercedes. Last year Ferrari was .8 off Lewis's pole time, and it's only .3 now.
