Not necessary remove the bike lanes but better design on 12th ave.

I have no experience on other bike routes and how fucked up they are. All I know is 12th Ave is f'd.

I would say whoever doesn't want more bike lanes.

It already cost the city millions putting them in I'm not sure if it would be a good financial decision to spend even more money to remove them. Even considering the reduction in annual snow removal cost.

I'd like to see Sean Chu run, just for the lulz.

I will vote for anyone who does this, regardless of their other policies.
He opposes abortion (and birth control), homosexuals, single-mothers, Muslims, and secondary suites regardless of whether or not he lives anywhere near them. But he is easily the most anti-bike lane person around. He certainly was in the last mayoral election.

Your Christian values, pro-car, anti-bike candidate* takin' names for the Lord, Larry Heather!

This is assuming he goes 0-19 and doesn't win the seat for Calgary-Midnapore next week.

It doesn't look like there is any real competition for Nenshi. My another win for the purple prince. I wish someone competent would step up but sadly a "volunteer" job like mayor is often the best of the worst type of arrangement.

Yeah well I wonder how they get the soft flowing caramel inside the Caramilk bar but you don't see me making a god damn thread about it. Slap your wife Baygirl, straighten him out.

Hopefully some sarcasm im not detecting. Not sure if you've lived next to one but in the summer my room used to be 100ft from a chicken coop and it was rank. Whenever I tell someone that they say "well if you clean them regularly they don't stink" yea IF is the key word there. Then if you get some shitty city slicker neighbor that fancies themselves a backyard "farmer" but is too lazy to clean properly you have to go through the whole rigamarole of calling bylaw.

    Keep them banned IMO!

I care less about the mayoral race and more about drug not winning because of vote splitting again

Since it isn't just a mayoral election, people should take a look at the new Ward boundaries to see if they're in a new one.

New boundary map with neighborhoods that have changed:

Yeah, that generally happens when there's more than 2 candidates.

Just curious what you think the other two would have done differently that wouldn't have somehow raised taxes?

Don't we have a surplus? Oh.. and no bike lanes would of saved a couple bucks

I've been in this house for 5 years... my taxes have doubled, seems unnecessary

These archaic religious people need to go away. All they really do is harm society by stifling human rights.

Anyway, how much sway power does the mayor have in relation to the rest of the council?
