I’ve already predicted that if he loses he’s gonna whine harder than the democrats, asking his people to challenge everything Smith says, and making things even more divisive in this city.

It just depends on what you take in. I’ve always had great debates with Nenshi fans on here. I’ve been anti Nenshi for a long time now and always felt like a minority, and not because I’m Chinese.

This year was the first time I felt there were a lot more people not happy with Nenshi.

Think it’s normal that small polling stations with small number of votes gets counted first. With people in line waiting till 10 or 11 to cast a ballot, we won’t know the bigger polling station results till 2 or 3am haha.

you know, even a month ago, I would have been cheering this.

Everyone knows how much I despise Nenshi, but this election, I actually put my personal feelings aside, took a step back and a deep breath, and actually read and researched each of the mayoral candidates' platforms.

After about 2-3 hours a day over the past 4 days, I researched each of the claims I came across, found the quotes, compared, and either dismissed them or cataloged them in the back of my brain.

In the end, I voted for Smith after doing all the comparison shopping, and I believe he is the best option for the way forward.

seriously though, that Larry Heather guy needs to get checked into a psychiatric ward and get evaluated. That guy is beyond looney tunes, so much so, I believe he is a danger to the people.

Was watching global online and seeing Nenshi's policy advisor bitching. I don't get what he is bitching about.. I think his policy advisor should have done a better job. Well his job might be on the line.

I was discussing at work, its the first time Nenshi is actually having to really defend his position. I still think he will win, but will he listen to the concerns of those who did not vote for him?
Or will flip his usual bullshit line 'I think its important that we talk and come together' in his potatostuckinhisthroat voice.
