so there's this product that protects your rear bumper when you're parking:
If your license plate is on the bumper, this bumper guard will cover it.
Question: is it okay to cover your bumper license plate when parking, if the bumper guard can be lifted up manually (a parking inspector or cop can lift up the bumper guard to see license plate?)?
Obviously this guard will defeat those automated license plate scanners, but the license plate can still be checked manually. I know you can't legally cover a license plate when the car is driving, but what if it's parked?
Thanks.
