Owned this thing for a year and decided to keep it a little longer so what the hey, let's make a build thread.
Mods when I bought it:
AFE Intake
H&R front springs
Bilstein shocks
Current mods:
Exhaust a little louder, did resonator deletes
Welded diff
Switch to manually raise/lower rear air suspension
NITROUS
Future mods for this summer:
M5 front bumper
More low
20mm spacers
Had the E60 M5 19"s on it for a while last summer
In July of last year I decided to add some sneaky horsepower.

Sold the 19s and ran my style 32's for winter
In December I welded the diff for, um, increased winter traction.

And then just recently picked up some style 162's off an E90! I like the look but they're sunken battle ships right now. Needs spacers and more low. » Click image for larger version
First road test with nitrous. I was lazy and just wired the solenoids to the horn.
Dyno. These are rated at 280hp, it put down 220whp on motor and 300whp on 100 shot of nitrous. For comparison, my M5 made 330whp on this dyno through a manual trans.
Took it to Castrol Friday night to see how quick it is.
Ran a whole bunch of 13.7s at 97-99mph depending on bottle pressure. Most impressively, it kept cutting 1.8 60fts on these garbage tires I trash-picked from the pile at work. This automatic wagon launches harder than most "fast" cars.
My summer tires were down to cords and Environment Canada says there's a shitstorm blowing in tonight. Mounted up my winters, ready for battle. If the forecast turns out to be bullshit I can drive the M5 and save these tires from getting annihilated.
EDIT: Very happy with that decision lol
