Basically anything that doesn't include soap and some degree of lathering, is a fake wash.
It's the same logic as BMW owners who do the one signal click as they've already crossed into your lane. Do the bare minimum even if it's pointless.

Haha I thought I was the only one who noticed that shit!! Actually, it's 90% of German car owners, car or SUV. I don't get it.

My car also has the 1 touch , 3 click signal. But I don't use it unless it's to send a message. I feel like a dick using the 3 click signal even though it should be more than ample warning of what's about to happen.

I love the 1-tap 3-blink signal. Start moving over on the 3rd blink and you've given more than enough notice if there is lots of room already. If there isn't lots of room I leave it on for a lot longer. You can also just hold the leaver for an extra blink or two without fully engaging it which I often do.

The most annoying thing is when it's bumper-to-bumper and people just slowly move over without a signal, basically playing a game of chicken. When they get the message that you aren't letting them in, they blink once long after it's completely pointless. If there's lots of room everywhere I don't really care.

I changed the setting of my R to 4 blinks as I feel 3 sometimes isn't enough depending on the conditions.

I like that on many Ford pickups, it goes from three blinks to five when you have a trailer attached. Very handy.

My turn signals emit light not visible to peons driving lesser brands.

Everyone knows you don't have to signal when your car switches lanes faster than you can blink.

I signal the same no matter the situation. Signalling should be programmed in by the time you have a few years under your belt. You shouldn't have to think about signalling differently in different situations.

Ha! That wasn't even my goal. It was just a valid comparison I thought. Now, do beyond.ca BMW owners just do the quick water rinse & jet prior to closing their next deal on bluetooth OR...do they do the lather, rinse & dry?
