Frig, a good condition MKIV Supra is probably increased in value over MSRP already.
Possibly. But by that time, the 45-55 year old typical owner whom can afford his dream corvette will be unable to drive it and or dead. Cars are for drivin'

Problem was he didn't wait long enough, but after 5 years he decided it's not gonna appreciate and he should start driving it. He could have been driving it from the start at least or else waited at least 10+ years.

Corvettes are built in too high of a volume to ever be really collectible. A couple of exceptions of course - the very old ones, and even the ZR-1 from the 90s.

But it's a mass produced car.

    Bump to get some opinions.

Went around to the dealerships (porsche, lambo, jaguar) to see what kind of inventory they had for used 911... pretty sparse.

There's a 2010 997.2 turbo at the Lambo dealership that just came in, looked interesting but priced a bit higher on the range (I think it was 120-130k, 30km). The Porsche dealership didn't have anything that interesting in their inventory, and all the Jag dealership had was an 07 auto turbo 60km and asking 78k.

Got me thinking about maybe getting a new F-Type R instead? Has the hp of the turbo, but performs closer to a C4S, and is similarly priced.

There was an autotrader ad for a 2010 997.2 turbo w/ 11km for 95k in Vancouver! Messaged them right away (think the ad only showed 10 views at the time), but never got a response... probably a fake ad.

Frustrating search, not much out there for a reasonable price...
