The revenue they are generating from this van is going to put the 16ave/10th street red light camera to shame. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
They are also often in the Napa parking lot. Also often further toward center by Mopac.
Seriously do not speed westbound 16th ave between center and 14th.

The plate on my wife's SUV is 37 years old so it has a naturally gained a very weathered look. Not sure if it's weathered enough to not get a photo radar ticket but I did get flashed on Northmount in her SUV back in February and never got a ticket - was enough over to warrant a ticket as well, brain fart on my behalf. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Photo radar out in full force this morning on Deerfoot with 3 difference locations that I spotted on just the south leg.
Not really photo radar, but did anyone else experience the cop show on Deerfoot Saturday? Edmonton-style setups at the Balzac and Country Hills overpasses with a laser on the bridge and units ready to go on the entry ramps. Never seen Waze lit up with that many cop reports for that far before.
Long weekend blitz, they were on Hwy2 in the 3 usual spots doing the same thing Sat.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I actually do approve of the long weekend blitz's. People get crazier, need more reminders to calm down.

There was one sitting here on Monday evening out front of Dairy Queen: https://www.google.ca/maps/@50.97816.../data=!3m1!1e3
Catching Northbound on Elbow.
I saw a weird presumably RCMP suburban painted in Forrest green on highway 1 yesterday by the highway 22 exit. Never seen that one before. Was definitely a cop inside though.

Lots of new ghost XLT Sport F150 in Magnetic Grey cruising around the Calgary area that are getting a lot harder to spot these days.
yeah, I saw that one too on Deerfoot, thought he was pulling me over, but got the guy ahead of me instead last week. I saw the equipment on his dash, I think it was a Sherriff, not CPS.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Yea I was pretty sure this guy had me as he was pulling a u-turn on the emergency cutback right as I was coming by, but guess he had bigger fish to fry or didn’t zap me quick enough before I cut back my speed. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Do these ghost CPS F150's have instant on radar like the RCMP? I didn't think they did.
I have no doubt the CPS (NE) traffic section trucks have all of the above. Probably rear mounted radar too because, why not. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I'd say pretty tough to identify which vehicle it was reading unless you're the only one on the road.
So easy ticket fight. Pain to have to go to court though.
They are doing rolling speed traps now, camping in the left lane with their rear radar on. Yesterday coming home I was NB on crowchild and at about the Nose Hill overpass I saw a silver unmarked Explorer driving in the left lane all the way up at the pedestrian bridge for the ctrain. I slowed to the speed limit and moved to the middle lane. He slowed to about 10 under by my estimate. Big ass white van behind me continued speeding even past the unit. By the time I caught up to him was my exit for Stoney TR NB and he hit the lights the second I passed him. Said he got me at 105 in an 80 with his rear radar. Thanks for keeping me safe on an empty dead straight 4 lane wide road CPS.
Driving 80 on Crowchild nowadays is almost a hazard. I was wondering when they are going to milk this cow.
What's a rolling speed trap?
