I am one of those guys who always pick up speed in that section as the road opens up. Sneeeaky yo.
This spot would have nailed me so good when I was in University. Especially interesting because I don't recall having ever seen an accident around there, but on the other side of the road there's an accident pretty much every few days (though lane change related and nothing to do with speed anyways). I thought Photo Radar was supposed to be linked to trouble spots now and not just cash cow locations? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Yeah that's such a shitty spot but they're there often enough now that you should just expect it unfortunately. They're also sneaky on the opposite side of Crowchild, essentially in the same area where they hide behind a glass bus stop.

LOL no grass. That's exactly where they park.

That one is sneaky, but I thought everyone knew about it by now... Probably from getting a ticket! This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
However, the one I spotted last week was a different location. Imagine heading south on Crowchild, past the traffic that exits onto EB Glenmore; you take a hard right to head west and merge onto WB Glenmore trail... That's where the he was, up on the ramp, radar'ing unsuspecting drivers on WB Glenmore as they pass under Crowchild...

Basically anything Crowchild y'all gotta be alert.
Somewhat OT:
Who are the officers driving F350's (with a winch!) in grey uniforms? Unmarked cars, and also spotted in Merc Sprinter vans. They almost look like military police?

Many of the gray cps vehicles are the tactical team. Although there also are military police around town, this sounds like cps tactical. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I think I saw the same one on highway 2 right by Airdrie with a customer, that thing has an impressive light package on it!This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I’m thinking revenue is low this month cause I’ve seen enforcement get a big step up.
Manned enforcement on elbow drive (not radar) almost every day through stampede.
Last night I had some bitch follow me for 6 miles and multiple turns about 3 feet off my bumper hoping I would slip up.

Collect and Serve at its finest.
Isn’t there a street corner in forest lawn you could be standing on instead? I actually wish I had a rear facing dashcam for that one, footage would have been straight to the station for an explanation of why she was following me that close.

There was a huge blitz last year during covid too... I'm sure revenue is way down with less cars on the road. To Serve and Collect is pivoting for sure. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I’m surprised I only saw one officer hiding on the way to Shuswap yesterday. Velocity Blue F150 just past the Sunshine turn off.
I took a corner at the limit in the Miata the other day, in front of a cop, and he didn't do anything. I then realized a Miata at 9/10ths on Chinese all season tires is like a normal car just turning.

Always manned enforcement west bound on 16th ave just west of deerfoot on top of hill...must be a gold mine as the was two motorcycle cops and a car there yesterday.
