The hazards always giveaway the explorer on stoney right near shaganappi. I almost forgot to pay my sneaky photo ticket which was the speed camera by staples on 9th ave. Probably my dumbest one yet.

I see the fords with the flashers on Stoney. Easy to pick out. I don’t think my center street one before 64th could’ve been missed, unless they’re not even using flash anymore. Would look like a parked car on the side.

I’ve been watching out for Honda elements too since I spotted one on Crowchild a few months back.

That Element one has been bugging me. Like it's not a vehicle or even a brand the CPS has really used, and certainly not a model. Also, IIRC, your description of it was that it appeared to be in a state of disrepair. Makes me think it wasn't a real CPS unit, and maybe some other sort like a traffic counter or someone making a video, or even someone taking it upon themselves to make people think they were a photo radar van in a vigillante attempt to slow speeds. You know the Karen type.

I dunno, it's just bugging me. besides the 2 recounts on here of this Element I haven't heard of anyone else speak of it, or any recounts of it being seen since.

Not calling BS on you or anything, it just seems REALLY outside the MO for the CPS. I mean, if it is true, it's smart of them to try and further disguise their vehicles with something no one would expect but, I just really doubt it.

I’m going to make an effort to park, stop, and take pics if I find one of these guys.

I heard that is what prostitutes do. Are you suggesting that rage2 is a male prostitute?

The ones on Deerfoot/Stoney are crazy, obviously they must be making a ton of cash but 95% of drivers just slam on their brakes and then resume speed up ahead. Lol.

Funny enough, I've done that before. On Memorial, hot day while biking, see van parked with the door open. Sure enough, it's multi nova. Chatted up the guy a bit, and invited me in so I sat in the back seat and watched the flash go off non stop taking pics.

Totally sounds like the start of a porn. Dude had a mustache too.

I like the one by Shaganappi, it's totally obvious and almost everyone slows down, but there's always some butthead that blows by at 140.

Probably posted before but I know numerous people who have gotten hit here with the photoradar.
Right after coming off Glenmore Tr., it's behind the wall on Northbound Crowchild Tr. No way to see it and speed is 70km/h.

Fixed Speed Camera at Heritage Park has changed directions. It is now facing Northbound 14th St SW and not Southbound.

Van on Crowchild Tr Bridge a lot. Easy to spot if you're paying attention.

They are also on the renovated bridge going southbound on Crowchild. Very obvious location but people just seem oblivious.

    I thought crowchild was 80?

I was almost burned by the flip on 14th street. I thought the safety theory was dependent on the highest risk direction was traffic from higher speed roads.

Turns out if you time lights poorly enough you can get people to speed. I've been first at the northbound lights at 90th, and you have to get up to about 85 to make the light at heritage

The new bridge over the bow is inexplicably 60 now.

Also crowchild has 70 sections now before and after the bridge by old children's hospital. It's so dumb.
Speed changes multiple times around there.

Bridge is easily drivable at 120+ km/h in no traffic times.
