Nvidia Shield and Plex. Is it as simple as streaming directly from my NAS?

Just thought I'd leave a quick note about the MKV to Xbox one conversion. The process is painless, I have PMS running on my NAS, so once it starts, it just goes. Problem is the finished product. I converted "The Dark Knight", and the blacks were overdone. Where it had shadow, it was hard to see, where it was dark, it was just black instead.

Few days ago, broke down and bought an Nvidia Shield Pro. Setup was painless, except getting the included remote to pair. Once I got that setup, I mounted my NAS, and put my music on the internal drive.

After the latest firmware update, it streams all my movies skip and stutter free, with lossless audio, and the picture looks great with the 4:4:4 color space I have setup. It also plays all my different bitrate FLAC files no problem.

The Shield is worth checking out.
