Guess we'll start this thread on the first of the month. I just got back from touring around Greece so I'm just slowly going through my photos. Here's two from Santorini

Drone shot, it was windy as hell and I kept getting a high wind warning so I didn't have a lot of time to frame the shots I wanted but this is one of my faves. The water was actually that blue

It was for sure cool to check out but it was way more expensive than the rest of Greece. The same bottle of Amstel beer cost me 8-9 Euro in Santorini and was like 3 Euro in the rest of Greece, It cost me about 70-80 Euro for dinner in Santorini for my gf and I and dinner of equal quality was 30-50 in the rest of Greece. We stayed in Oia and the prices are a bit higher than in Fira which is a 20 min drive away. I was surprised to find out not all the buildings are white and blue in Santorini, there were a lot of browns and yellow buildings. Talking to some other travelers they said Mykonos is more white and blue

I think I like the Island of Zakynthos better but Santorini is still a must see

It's no Greece or anything. Down in Texas for a few days before heading to an Airshow in Louisiana this weekend. Stopped off at the Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, and then over to the Fort Worth Water Gardens. Dropped my D810 on the pavement, so ended up having to shoot the water gardens with the D500, which wasn't exactly in the plan.

Traded in all my gear and changed mounts, still on Sony but went to a fullframe mirrorless. Glad I made the switch. New system comprises Alpha A7-II, Zeiss 24-70/4 & Sony G 70-200/4.
