Resume Writing Services

I've been trying to improve my resume continually as im gaining more experience in my professional career and trying to stay competitive on paper.
This has led me to have a look at resume writing companies to see what they can do, but are expensive! $500 minimum.

Has anyone used a service such as this? If so who? And do you feel it was money well spent?

Have noticed some sample resumes on their websites, i've reaped some ideas off of them haha.. But not too sure where to go, going forward hah! I mean, i don't think my resume is bad... but maybe it could be better? Dont know.

My top tip for improving your own resume is to make sure it's optimized for ATS software. That means simplify the formatting as much as possible. There are probably youtube videos with suggestions for how to do this.

Or I'll look it over for free, but I'm not a recruiter or a hiring manager anymore.
