Default Snowy Village (Bingsoo & Taiyaki)

Oh man, these things are so deadly tasty. Not sure when it'll make it's way here. An Edm store is coming so could be a good sign. (i.e. New Horizon Mall in Balzac?)

Mango Bingsoo, even one small size should be good enough for 2, imo.

The large Mango Bingsoo is just too gigantic

Strawberry Bingsoo kinda tastes like a McDonald's strawberry sundae to me tho.

They've also got some good snacks, peanut butter toast with some kinda chewy mochi.

And while you're in Asia, aka: Richmond, BC... might as well stop in for some fresh warm fluffy pineapple buns with iced cold butter in between the cracks.

Those two mounds in the first picture look really full.

Drove past their location in Coquitlam on the way to Bubble World so much...always a line up outside so I kept wondering wtf they were selling, I'll have to try it out when I'm there next!

You might have better luck on the Robson street location, next door to Santouka (Ramen/noodles), might not attract as much Asians flooding the place

I like the Richmond location tho, in the heart of fobbylcious central.

Words cant describe how fluffy that shaved ice or whatever you call it. We just finished ramen at santouka and seen this place and decided to try it. It wasnt busy at all so we werent sure what to expect but after my first bite i was hooked. I honestly had no idea it was shaved ice because it was so fluffy. I still tell all my friends about this place and its been almost a year lol

and I did not have the only say in the matter (most people just want it done ASAP and don't care about quality).

If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.

is it humanly possible to eat such huge desserts? not that i wouldn't want to, just they seem way too big not to regret it afterwards. are they very sweet, like sugary?

I believe Asian desserts in general are less sweet than White counterparts. That said, eating one of these is kinda like eating wet cotton candy to me... pretty much just straight up sugar.

So yes, I agree I wouldn't want to eat one of these by myself.

Here's what the inside looks like. Instead of shaved ice, they replaced it with shaved milk (I'm pretty sure extremely sweetened)

I really want to try a bite, and then I'd probably get worried about diabetes and stop.
