Weekend Floats

Hey Beyond,

For the last 2 years, me and a few buddies have floated the north saskatchewan around Genessee. We usually camp friday night, hit the river in the morning then float all day, camp on an island, float half of sunday and head home.

This year we are looking closer to home any suggestions as to where would be great.

This is a boondoggle, so a lazy float is ideal.

This is home for the weekend

Sheep River has some really good sections to float.

Elbow river can be decent if you get in by the dam and float up to Stanley park.

Bring a lunch tray to slide down the storm outfall that's about .5km from the dam
