Default Braelin Wheels - Anyone give them a shot?

So in my quest for reasonably priced winter rims that will fit my car I have come across Braelin a few times and I am interested in what people think or what experience people have with them?

Sounds like they are the same company as FAST and Replika with made in china alloys finished in Canada.

I am thinking of the black (just for the painted finish) BR06:

    2X 19X8.5 ET35 and another 2X 19X8.5ET45 for a square winter setup, targeting 245/35R19 tires

    Stocks are:

2X 19X8.5ET35 and 2X 19X9.5ET54 so based on calculators I have been playing with the above should fit nicely?

Things I like are they come hub centric for Mercedes, prices are reasonable, and a good looking design ( I am pretty picky on rim designs being too out there ), warranty. Just need to be good enough for winter so not looking for anything fancy.

    SO.... What does beyond think?

I had a set of BR02's on my wife's car (C Class) a few years ago. Looked good and no issues with them (she only put about 2000kms on the car before it was sold though haha)

I still have 2 wheels left in my garage that are brand new and I would give away for beer (but I think they discontinued the BR02 so might be tough to find 2 more)

Guessing winter tires? I run a set of Fast Hayaku on the GLA45 for winter, no issues. Would I run 'em on a lapping day with sticky tires? Probably not.

Yup this is just for a winter set. Need to be 19" or bust unfortunately which is half of my problem finding rims and tires.

Been tough finding any info on Braelin themselves, but no massive collection of horror stories which is good and they have been around for 4 or 5 years at this point.

I actually like the stock rims on my car, and they are forged from the factory which is good enough for me. Considering they were optional extras I should probably like them

I was doing some math and realized its actually cost competitive to lease a hyundai elantra rather than buy rims and tires for this car

Roopi I saw your ad, I am trying to go smaller than your 10" widths to try and get some reasonable tires. The width won't be helping me in the winter anyways. Glad to hear your testimonial though!

IIRC, Braelin is the Canadian brand for Ace Alloy wheels based in the US.

For a winter rim, I would buy with confidence.

A couple of guys run BR02's (AKA Ace Alloy Convex) on their Genesis as summer wheels and we haven't heard anything bad about them.

The only TSW designs I like cost as much as real rims...

Keep in mind that the only reason I find this whole process difficult is I have never bought anything but OEM rims before... I can't afford that shit on an AMG

A Ferrari is a high maintenance chick, you spend money regardless of what you do with her. You can baby the C63, or slap on all seasons, and you won't be spending anything but yearly maintenance. Of course that's like dating a stripper and refusing to fuck her, which would make you gay.

Get a set of these from Tunerworks. Same thing I run on my wagon in the winter.

    I like neat cars.

I have some Replika wheels for the GTI for winter duty. They look decent, and they were reasonably priced. Would recommend for winter.

Went with gram lights for winter on the last car... finish held up real well even after multiple winters... surprisingly affordable

I put Braelin BR07's on my car and i have zero complaints.

Much better finishing and build quality then i thought i would get. I went with Braelin because i was able to customize everything (hub, bolt pattern and offset) and when going staggered on a bloody cadillac gave me about 5 rim options and none of them had the proper offset.

This is the wheel I commonly see on the C450 customer vehicles for winter set ups.

Is there anything in the RTX lineup that suits your needs? I'm using those for my winter wheels with no complaints through three winters.

^ Just took a look, they don't have the size/offsets available that I am looking for in a style I like.

There are usually used OEM wheels on Kijiji.

Bob at UrbanX can help you with that too

Very happy with the FC04's. They are really good wheels for the money. Guy at my work has some Niche wheels on his 335i. They look awesome for a budget setup. Proof of quality will be after running them for a couple of years though.

Niche does proper Mercedes fit (19x8.5 ET42 and 19x9.5 ET50) in the Sport Series, hub centric and using ball seat lugbolts. Good quality and decently priced winter options...

^ Do you know if they offer a more square fitment option bob? The Circuit M110's are nice.

Going 265 on the rear starts to really limit me on tire selection from what I have been seeing so i am trying to go 245 all around, and not sure how well 245's will fit on a 9.5 wide rim.

    You are the expert.
