Default Gardena Zoom Maxx Spike Sprinkler

I'm on my third year of using this sprinkler, and it's bar none, the best sprinkler I've ever used. The adjustments are extensive and easy to manipulate, and it also has a flow adjustment dial.

The reviews are stellar as well:

I like my lee valley spot sprinkler. Gives a nice even distribution at any water pressure. No moving parts.

    Neat!

I've never actually watered my lawn since living there. Mow it but never water it

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

Sprinkler’s aside, I highly recommend the Orbit water timers they sell at Lowes if you don’t have an underground system.

I’ve been using ours for a couple summers now & it works great. I have it set to do a 20min cycle at midnight every 2 days – I just move my sprinkler every other day & it does the rest. Only complaint is the water pressure is a little lower.

Totally agree. Any timer really. I'm a little forgetful, or get distracted at least, more than once my yard has gotten watered for a couple of hours

Is there any ever worry that these timers break and my backyard/basement gets flooded?

My yard is big, and new (3 week sod), and I have to run two sprinklers to save time.
