The tanwall with white frame looks sweet. I like the riddlers - I have a set on my SS CX/Gravel rig. Bit slow on the pavement, but a good tire otherwise. I assume you're going to swap on some mountain pedals?

Well, found a sweet deal on a gravel wheel set, basically new WTB Riddlers plus wheels for $150… in a skin wall, can’t even find them in stock… all for $150 from someone switching to a 650b… grabbed some rotors and 12mm to 10/9mm adaptors and the $200 dedicated trainer frame is now rolling! …probably going to slowly upgrade from here

    How are those MEC frames?

The benefit of masks is not known at this time. But we do know it is some non-trivial amount more than zero.

We also know that the cost of mask use is, essentially, zero.

So the cost:benefit of mask use is approaching infinity. I'll take that every time. And every time I see someone without a mask, I think they are stupid.

Dunno… only have used it on the trainer. Probably 100x better than your vintage frames though haha

Anyone want to spend an hour or two doing some repair on my kids bmx? I'm slammed with about 93 personal and work things, and just don't have time to figure out what I eve need to do this. It's an 18" BMX bike and the coaster brake and bearings in the "middle bit" where the cranks attach has come apart. I don't think we lost anything, but it needs taking apart and reassembling.
I can pay, or trade alcohol, or whatever.

Yeah, tossed some flats on… along with a 11-40t cassette… much better!

Took it for a shakedown. Geometry is pretty good, pretty confident on a deputy to sheriff lap in fish creek

So MEC cleans out the BB, BB is smooth… but still some vibration when putting power in. They’re saying that there is a slight ‘knock’ or vibration in the drivechain, due to being a KMC chain , on a shimano cassete with a Cannondale crank and are telling me that this is completely normal and should ‘mesh’ as the chain wears? I’m pretty skeptical, it’s a brand new bike and didn’t vibrate at 0 km, why would it show at 100?
