shes probably referring to the fact that sports/rec and arts have an exception in the property tax laws that allow the municipality to set the rate of property tax, which would likely be lower than the set rate.

Forbes had Calgary at #16 of 30 teams for value. So what shit are you smoking about "big market team". NHL won't give two fucks if Calgary is making money. If a group wants to buy and move to Seattle using the ~40 year old stadium as the main focal point, won't be difficult.

Looks like we are icing a lineup tonight that for the most part will resemble the regular season starting line up (will be interesting to see how the 4th line looks at the start of the year) I have been impressed with Jankowski so far and feel he is a better option that Stajan right now.

Jankowski has made the team in my eyes. He was great this preseason. Sounds like he was poised and comfortable whenever he had the puck, even against the Jets who were icing their NHL squad. Guys a gamer, great pick by Feaster. Took a bit to get there but I think we will be looking back at that pick for a while.

I'm most interested to see how Bennett does this season. Looks like the Gaudreau - Bennett - Ferland line was just a preseason thing which is unfortunate but I get it. I just think that if Bennett could fill then role and we could follow that with Tkachuk - Monahan - Versteeg and Jankowski - Backlund - Frolik and we would have an unreal top 9. All depends on Bennett though or it falls apart.
