    Default 2018 Accord

    Discuss.

    Specifically Hallowed_Point and his 6-6
I own an 8g which is significantly different from 7g. 8g to 9g looked the same... will 10g be boldy different?

It would be cool if they took the HFP concept for the coupe a bit further and made it really handle. Can't really see it going that way though.
It'll probably go more to the entry level luxury side biting on Acura's heels. RIP 6-6 I've heard that they will still make a 6 speed manual
coupe though with the 2.0 turbo. Save the manuals!

Love that Honda is moving to 1.5t/2.0t powerplants in most of their vehicles now. So much more competitive, and nice for those of us at altitude.

    It's just a bigger Civic.

2L paired with 6sp manual or 10sp auto is interesting.

But the question, sedan market share is shrinking. Do they have what it take to go against the new Camry with new platform and suspension that promised better handling.

And that red leather in the new Camry is Lexus worthy.

It's built on the new civic platform. It will handle well, be lighter BUT probably not as powerful on paper. We'll see.

Honda makes an AWD Accord already. It's called the TLX

Sheesh. If I want to read nonsensical posts like this I would go to a Subaru forum.

Subarus are plastic junk toys mostly driven by man children. Eventually they grow out of it and realize how ridiculous that whole 'flat 4 sounds like a turd V8' fad was and buy something more...mature.

I know they do. I guess not everyone needs AWD but as long as I live in Canada I will never drive a car without it. Hell I'd take RWD over FWD.

TLX is a really underwhelming car. I personally wish the accord had AWD too, but I am excited for this model. I just hope the interface of the electronics get better as the current Accord sucks and is possibly isn't worst part IMO.

*edit* wanted to add now that I read more, I am happy to see there won't be a CVT on the 2L turbo. I know they keep getting better, but the last one I drove was in a 2016 CRV and it still sucked. I still prefer a regular transmission.

The dual screen navigation setup in my 9th gen accord is pretty terrible. Slow, low resolution and not very intuitive. It's quite cumbersome to use. Love
the lane watch feature though. Very handy. They should add a backup sonar. GPS is also terrible and seems to pick the most round about ways to get
anywhere. I very rarely use it for that reason.

I think all Honda will standardize around that unit introduced in NSX/Civic with Android Auto/CarPlay.

It will be interest to see if Honda continue to maintain the dual screen set up that looks ok 10 years ago, quite outdated today, especially in an Acura.
