Does it annoy you when someone respond to your kijiji ad and you get that question?
Yes I have a lowest price in mind but why should I reveal it to the buyer?

You give them the lowest price and they'll knock it down some more. It doesn't bother me. I just don't respond to question like that.
Generally i do not respond because mostly shit bags ask that question. Occasionally i do respond, so i can raise my asking price.
I don't.
When you get someone who asks that, you know you're dealing with a cheap ass.
yep, if someone asks me that i just tell them the price is firm, they're gonna try to talk you down even further anyway

I'll reply with my asking price if I even reply at all
My response: "Whats your best offer?"
Usually its a lowball, and I say no thanks - Find another car if that's your budget, there are plenty on kijiji.
This, why bother with such people. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Will fuck off, again.
I double the price and ignore all responses after that.
I just tell them. But I rarely price something on Kijiji much different than my lowest price anyway.
I don't respond to openers like that but I shave some money off since I typically price stuff a little bit higher to begin with.
Based on principle, I rarely if ever buy something on Kijiji for list price...the only time I have in the last year is when its a steal and I think there will be a ton of interest. If someone says firm, I look elsewhere.
My response is always "What's the highest your willing to pay for it?"

Fuck you are all awful sellers lol. I always argue that Kijiji/Craigslist buyers have to deal with just as many problems as sellers.
Your attitudes are great... If you don't want to sell anything.
The answer to the OP's question is simple. Tell them what you'll take. Either they will agree, or not. If they try and lowball you further, it is a pretty simple response as well.
If you walked into a dealership to buy a car, and a salesman said any of these responses to you, you'd all walk right back out the fucking door and come bitch about it on Beyond
My rule of thumb when selling anything, especially in this day and age, your first potential buyer is your best. Most people buying have a pretty good idea what they are looking for and what its value is... Most people selling have no fucking clue what their stuff is worth it and usually ask crackpipe prices.
Depends on how I've priced it, if I've priced it higher with the expectation of negotiation I respond with higher than my lowest but lower than my asking price.
But most of the time I underprice items and I just tell them that's it, take it or leave it.
But yes I agree it's a classless question to ask and usually it pisses me off. It makes the buyer sound like a child
I agree with @HiTempguy1 's comments.
All the people who are getting mad at people when they ask what is your lowest price, I have a question for you. When was the last time you paid full asking price for a used item?
Be honest guys
I love beyond every one is a baller here
If selling a motorbike and the buyer asks, "What's the lowest you'll go?"
You can respond, "About 5 km/h but any lower speeds than that and you'll probably tip over!"
Or if it's a car, "10km/h but any slower and you might get an impeding traffic ticket."
But yeah kijiji is horrible for this and you'll have guys that will offer 1/4 your asking price!

It's not that we don't want to budge on the price, but when someone's first reply to your sale ad is "what's the lowest you will go?".
Whats wrong with that? May be they are trying to gauge whether they should further proceed with that or not. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I rather have a person who asks that first, then you know where they stand.
