Default The New 911 GT2 RS

This car looks amazing - 700 hp, 550 ft/lb and top speed of 211mph. Been a while since a GT2 was an option, and I loved the fact they went to an RS version from the start.

You mean the new one they announced at E3 then failed to acknowledge until now ROFL.

    Still a sweet car.

So. Beyond members wanna pool for a car share? Is that a thing?

    Amazing ...

At ~ $400K loaded MSRP, wonder how much more will be the actual "street price" be .. the old RS is somewhat $650k to 700k range now ...

They are saying 2.8 seconds 0-100kmph but I think that has to be conservative since the Turbo S does it in 2.9 seconds.

I have to believe that they've figured out how to launch a rear axle drive car, with minimal slip. Their PDK is stupid good.

    Turbo S is actually 2.5 0-60.

Porsche grossly understates the performance figures. This will do 2.6-2.7

I know nothing of Porsches, other than the fact that I can't afford one. How does this differ from the "base " 911 or the carerra 4 GTS? I have a relative thinking of buying one of those.

Hope that helps! From GTS to GT2 RS... Looks to be a 200ish HP difference. Hella lot torque.

Those numbers seem slightly off, there's closer to 250 hp and 150 ft/lbs torque difference between the GTS and the GT2 RS. The GT2 RS is the fastest 911 ever made.

The major/only real difference between a Carrera GTS and a Carrera 4 GTS is that the former is rear drive, and the latter is all wheel drive.
