    Default Washer repair?

    Gents,

I've got an old washing machine that stopped draining water. Problem turned out to be the lid switch, which I replaced.

Problem now is that the washer is leaking water. I took off the front end to find the leak but can't find it.

I first thought maybe the water inlet spout was too far back, so I pulled it forward but still didn't fix it. It starts leaking as water pours into the tub.

Any of u have any ideas or know of anyone who does repairs /diagnosis for cheap?

It's a Kenmore 80 series top load washer.

You tube it- they arent that complicated and there are tons of videos. I tore mine down to the frame and replaced the main bearing. If it comes to paying someone, I would just replace it so not to much to lose.
