Hey everyone, I'm Dennis. long time Lurker of the forum and just starting to try to get a little more into photography. Getting lots of inspiration from all the great photos in these monthly photo threads.
So I've decided to try to start posting in some of these threads to hopefully get some good feedback on how to improve my photos.
Currently using a Sony Alpha NEX-5R with the 18-55mm kit lens. Trying to take most of my photos using manual mode and trying understand how each settings affect the outcome of the photo. Also using my LG G5 when I don't have my actual camera with me.
Hopefully to maybe meet up with some of you guys someday and go shooting and pick your brains.
Here's a few of my latest shots.

Welcome Dennis, that's a good looking 86.
With my 6D still half dead, I picked up an el cheapo T3i to use with my AF lenses. Not bad at all I'd say:

Someday we may need to activate the halo structure off Deerfoot and destroy the North East.
Doesn't get much more "Canadian Airshow" than this:

No, it does not! Maybe if there's just one more Snowbird I've been finding it very hard to see all 9.
