thanks for the link, ordered 4 similar ones (with the outside leather) since they were so cheap.
Got 3 out of 4 wallets today. First time ordering from aliexpress and I’m pleasantly surprised how good these look and work. These 3 cost me $19.25 shipped. Mechanism seems to work pretty good, and the fake leather actually looks really nice. Time will tell how they hold up but overall can’t go wrong for like 6% of the price of a genuine secrid

Hows the glue holding the leather to the metal? I mean does it look good?

Also got a link to where you bought them?

Glue is pretty solid as far as i can tell. They really do look good overall considering they are $7

This one is allegedly genuine leather so that’s why it’s $14 instead of $7

finally got around to adding my costco number to my account so that i could actually see the price. looks like only 7% off ($14 off on a $200 GC). have you ever seen them on sale for closer to 20% off?

looks like the costco newsletter answered my question. they are on sale for 16% off right now until the 16th. grabbed a $100, that should cover 2 years of my 3.99/month icloud storage subscription

I've used a saddleback bi-fold for the last many years but I've since started making my own.

US sized horizontal bi-fold, Euro sized vertical bi-fold, and a bunch of minimalist card holders I made as gifts (on top of a mouse pad I made).

Very cool. Where do you source the leather? Those card holders are very handy, I have a couple from saddleback.

That leather came from Morocco from a trip I did to Fez in December - it is quite nice and should look better and better with time.

I'm trying to source some nice veg-tan from a village in Spain known for its leather for future projects so I have a consistent source. I still want to clean-up my process and get my stitching down 100% and then I may start offering some for sale. It's just a hobby but the tools aren't cheap so it would be nice to eventually use some product sales to grow my tool quiver and enhance my skills.

my daily is an Adrian Klis too. Has been for years.
Have a saddleback, but it was too much leather, too thick and stiff.
Bought a replacement Adrian Klis model 211 today, identical to the previous one I had been rocking for something like 20 years. Guy was selling them at the medieval faire in Strathmore. Impulse purchase but I know I like that style. Even though these are much "lighter duty" than saddleback, they last well enough and are much easier to break in.

In my never ending quest of downsizing to the smallest possible wallet setup, while not compromising on the number of cards/cash I carry, this is finally the best solution I have found. Wasted way too much money on your Gucci's, Burberry's, LV's. etc. and they are all collecting dust and I just love this. And this is with there being about 8 bills folded in the centre pocket.

I moved from a Ridge style knockoff to this about 6 months ago

    https://a.co/d/2ZDDURs

Holds what I need and is super slim, feels much better in pockets compared to my old wallet.
