    We're headed to crossover/suv hell.
Heading? We're already there haha. Car sales started dropping while SUVs started increasing in 2012. SUVs and CUVs surpassed car sales 2 or 3 years ago. CRV and RAV4 are the best selling CUVs on the market today, passing Accord in sales last year and most likely Camry in sales this year (top midsized cars). By the next year or 2 it'll pass Corolla and Civic (top small cars) in sales making CUVs the best selling vehicles in North America excluding trucks.

Going to see plenty of coupes/sedans bite the dust in the near future.
Yup. Coupes are first to go, new Accord is sedan only. Detroit automakers already slowing down development and updates on sedans to focus on SUV/CUVs. Only Asian automakers still investing in sedans to take market share away from domestics, but that'll end soon too if this trend doesn't slow down.
