Default Car Wash - Cleaning Oil From Truck Bed

What are the rules for cleaning chemicals/oils off of vehicles in a car wash? Some oil spilled in the back of my truck and i need to clean it out, do i have to use kitty litter and soak it up and take it to the disposal place? or can i just go wash it out at the wand wash?

    any input appreciated,
    Thanks.

You aren't supposed to put petroleum or solvents down the drain at the car wash. If it's enough that you could soak some up with kitty litter, I'd do that first. Then use dish soap and a broom to scrub up some of the rest, and then just soap the shit out of it at the car wash.

You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

Most carwashes have big signs up about not allowing chemicals/oils. I'm sure if they see it they will freak out, as for the consequence I have never encountered that.

The guy at the douglasdale lost his shit on me for cleaning a bunch of mud with some small loose rock out the back of a work truck once, told me to stop immediately. Which I did and nothing further

Try simple green, you can get it just about anywhere. Should cut right through the oil/grease, might have to scrub it a little bit. This is what I use on my wheels and tires to clean them as it is biodegradable & non-toxic (neighbors cant get mad if I use it in the driveway) and it is safe on rubber and shouldn't harm plastic either.
