Thanks my friend. Home now and recovering. Just no cycling outdoor for now just in case. Will miss the Range (doing the Rustler I should say) but rather be safe than sorry. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Speedy recovery @jampack ! Don’t push yourself too hard as well on your first ride back
Thanks man! Pretty much recovered but still just doing indoor training. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
After checking with my doctor, the Range/Rustler is actually just exactly 4 weeks after the accident which is what they recommended me when I can bike outdoors. I can possibly attend, but we'll still base it on the follow-up ultrasound next week for a final decision. I'd like to bike it and I won't try to beat a time or anything, I just want to enjoy the ride. Hoping for good results.

Did this yesterday. Started at 5 pm so the wrong choice. Kind of a convoluted route that you’d never do yourself, particularly from COP to Willow Park to connect them all, so highly recommend loading it into your garmin or having Strava goingThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Yeah I'm planning on doing it. I haven't really analyzed the route, but just at a quick glance it seems like it could have been better routed. I just want the water bottle hahaThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
^ugh I lost my favourite 10$ water bottle over the weekend so I need another one, might do this next Friday after my bike fitting lol.
and speedy recovery @jampack !
take it easy for the first 2-3 weeks and hopefully you will have 1 week to get ready for your next ride
I end up throwing out so many water bottles in races, long rides, etc. that I now just buy the dollar store ones by the dozen. Cheaper than a bottle of gatorade even. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I'm going to attempt it with some fellow riders; safety in numbersThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I also want the water bottle haha!

I am actually in dire need of water bottles lol. I will do this too when I'm able to bike outdoors again (in 3 weeks). See you guys out there!

And personally i would have taken the new pathway along the west side of the Bow at beaverdam flats vs the worlds shittiest path along the canal
I doubt they're sticklers if you just go show you did the loop, but i knew we'd be doing it when they were closed and wanted the QR code so did it with my watch leading the way. My buddy definitely missed a few turns that were random.

Are these water bottles 750ml? I have a bit of mileage to make up for my annual goal so I might do this a few times.
Going to get my QR scanned tonight and get my cupcake, will update with waterbottle size
Haha yeah I got a bunch of water bottles that I'm not using now but that's not the pointThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
There's also the Trek Century Challenge for a free bottle:

Standard 650 ml purist bottle.
Think they’re like $20 at Mec so can’t complain

I just got back from doing this and yeah, I definitely felt like parts of this ride could have been done better, even if they were trying to achieve the same amount of distance for the circuit. I went with two other riders and both of them got flats crossing the railroad along that shitty canal. I don't even know how that happened or how I avoided it. That said, it was still a decent ride and it's always fun when people organize these sort of events to get people out riding. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Now time for a fucking nap.
