DIY Leather Colour Change Re-dye

Anyone local done it? I know lots of local shops can do it but it's pricey. I'm interested in seeing some DIY projects and how well they held up.

Considering going the leatherique route, stripping the old dye and then applying new dye with a spray gun.

I got a leather repair kit for my couch here: https://www.leatherrepairkits.com/
Very easy to do. Doesn't repair the stitching. Does fix cuts and cracks really well if prepped correctly.
The dye job has lasted about 2 years and I can see it wearing a bit lighter and I can see the cracks that were repaired showing darker meaning they've retained their color more than the leather itself.
I'll have to redo it since I'm pickey. Couch is used everyday.
