I've stayed at Belly River which is more secluded and quiet. The others are just a big tailgate party all night.

Townsite campground is good for parking, but not if you like to hang in your campsite.

You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

I just came back Sunday from Crandall. It was awesome there. Townsite as said above sucks. It's super open and I heard gets pretty windy. No privacy at all. We had 2 bear warnings while we stayed at Crandell. Apparently one day, they had 3 in a day lol. The good thing is if you're staying at any of the camp sites, you can just drive to townsite and use their showers/washrooms.

Not to hijack the thread too much, but any suggestions for Cyprus Hills camp sites would be appreciated as well.

I'm in AA of firerock right now. No trees, but nice and close to the beach for the kids, and I can use the shower house at the day use.
I think some of the others may have some shade and shelter from wind. Use the panorama feature to check that.
    Have hears a
Sask side is nice, but never been.

Thanks, I reserved in Firerock, up in the B section. I notice the map didn't show any sani-dumps though, are there really none there?

I didn't see one, but I wasn't looking hard. Maybe ask when you check in at the central registration?

Another +1 for Crandell. Just remember it is first come first serve so arrive early.
